Vision:
Our vision is to be the most healthy 20's/30's ministry in the University City area fueled through the living out of our values and focused on seeing the Lord change the lives of those in our midst and in our community.
Values:
Advancing the goodness of God.
• We believe that God and his son Jesus Christ are good.
• We believe that the will of God is good. (Rom. 12:2)
• We believe that we were created to do good works. (Eph. 2:10)
• We believe that a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is all satisfying and more pleasurable than any other worldly offering.
The lives of 20’s/30’s.
• We believe that we can best minister to 20’/30’s because we are in our 20’s/30’s.
• We believe this is a strategic people group that are still looking for joy and purpose and direction in this stage of their lives.
• We desire to encourage those that are making decisions regarding careers, relationships, marriage and finances to make them in a Christ-honoring way.
• We welcome grace-centered wisdom and insight into important decisions from those who have sought the Lord and made these decisions before us.
• We believe it is important to train/grow/equip this generation to be the next generation of leadership in the church.
Purposeful Relationships.
• We believe Christ-centered fellowship is essential for the spiritual growth of any Christian. (Acts 2:42)
• We believe in Grace-centered encouragement to challenge one another towards greater godliness and love. (Heb. 10:24)
• We believe in Grace-centered encouragement to protect those we love from being hardened by sin. (Heb. 3:13)
• We believe loving one another and loving those we come in contact with serves as a positive corporate testimony to outsiders. (John 13:34)
Integration into the greater church body.
• We believe all Christians are members of the body of Christ and have been given unique gifts and abilities to minister with. (I Cor. 12:12-31)
• We value non-peer relationships in which 20’s/30’s have opportunities to dialogue and learn from men and women with more wisdom and life experience.
• We believe the greater church body has greater resources to help 20’s/30’s walk with the Lord.
Honest Engagement with the University City community.
• We believe we are called to love the University City community because it is Christ who first loved us. (I John 4:19)
• We believe God is good and we desire to share that with others.
• We believe Jesus Christ has commanded us to make disciples through the Great Commission. (Matt. 28:16-20)
• We believe that lifestyle of sharing and exercising our faith is important to our individual spiritual health and the overall health of our ministry.
